OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1 ON-OFF POWER BUTTON / MUTE
Press this button momentarily to turn the unit on. The unit will
also turn on automatically when a compact disc is inserted if the
ignition switch is "on". Press and hold the PWR button for 2
seconds to turn the unit "off".
This button is also used to mute the volume level when the unit is
turned on. The MUTE indication will blink on the display and the
audio will mute to the pre-set level.
NOTE: See section on "Mute level".

VOLUME CONTROL
To increase the volume level, press the + side of the button. The
volume will increase and the level will be shown on the display
panel from a minimum of 0 to a maximum of 80. To increase the
volume quickly, keep the button pressed. To decrease the
volume level, press the side of the button. Keep the button
pressed to decrease the volume quickly. The display will
automatically return to the normal indication 5 seconds after
the last volume adjustment or when another function is activated.
These buttons are also used to adjust the mute level.

TUNE/LEVEL CONTROL ( / ) ( / )
Use
/ buttons for tuning radio, CD player track selection
and for level adjustment of the bass, treble and balance features.
Use the / buttons for scan tuning, pre-set scan tuning, scan
play in CD mode and for level adjustment of bass, treble and fader.

SELECT BUTTON (SEL)
SELECT FUNCTION: This button is used to select the audio
function (bass, treble, balance, or fade) to be adjusted using the
Level Control

, as well as the mute level and level meter sensitivity.
