TROUBLESHOOTING
Inadequate operating
temperatures.
The temperature inside the vehicle may be 0
or less. Allow the vehicle to warm up.
The headlight of the vehicle is
lit.
The display is made darkened at night to
prevent glare.
The color of the display is
light or a shade of color is
not good.
The color is not adjusted
adequately.
Check that COLOR and TINT are adjusted
properly.
When the VTR or other
video source is connected
the image is disturbed.
Improper NTSC/PAL setting. Set the NTSC/PAL properly according to the
VTR or other video source.
Problem Cause Measure
Fuse is blown Replace the blown fuse with a fuse of the
same amperage. If the fuse blows again
consult your AUDIOVOX dealer.
Power does not turn ON
Incorrect wiring Consult your AUDIOVOX dealer.
Nothing happens when
buttons are pressed.
Display is not accurate.
The microprocessor has
malfunctioned due to noise,
etc.
Press the reset button on the RT BOX unit and
main unit for about 2 seconds with a thin
instrument.
NOTE: When the reset button is pressed the
ACC power will be turned OFF. TV/Radio
stations, and titles stored in memory are
cleared.
Sunlight is interfering with the
IR Sensor.
Sunlight is interfering with the IR Sensor on
the front of the main unit, causing the remote
control not to work.
