Setup Instructions
1. Insert 4 AA batteries (included) into the battery compartment of the Battery Pack.
2. Wipe the back of your iPod to remove dust.
3. Position the Battery Pack’s two suction cups on the iPod’s back so they both make full
contact with the steel surface, with the cable exiting toward the bottom end of the iPod.
4. Connect the Battery Pack to the iPod by plugging the Battery Pack connector into the
Dock Connector of the iPod.
5. To use the Battery Pack’s batteries, slide the on/off switch to the “I” position. The iPod
now received power from the Battery Pack!
To check the remaining battery power level, press the button on the top end of the Battery
Pack. The power level from the batteries is shown by up to 4 LEDs. Once the power level
drops to one LED, it’s time to switch batteries.
When the Battery Pack is connected and turned on, the iPod will run off the battery pack, not
the internal iPod battery (as long as there is enough power in the batteries).
NOTE: The Battery Pack will not charge the iPod’s internal battery.
