Appendix A: Cisco SCCP Protocol
Cisco IP Phone 7960 – phone type emulated by the NetLink Wireless Telephone
Overview
The NetLink Wireless Telephone emulates the Cisco IP Phone 7960,
shown above. Certain features and handset operations vary from the
SRP protocol. These variations are explained in this appendix.
Status display area
When active, the handset displays a row of line icons at the top of
the screen. Information from the PBX is shown on the text row
above the softkeys. Note that text may be truncated to 16 to 19
characters on the handset.
<Muted> is displayed on the second text
row when local muting is activated.
LINE display
Pressing the
LINE key from the active mode displays a list of line
appearances extracted from the programmable keys list. The line
appearances are also mapped to corresponding line icons.
FCN display
Pressing the
FCN key from the active mode displays the Mute,
Voicemail, OAI functions and the speed dial list.
