ip vrrp (auth-key)
Command Mode Interface Configuration.
Description Enables or disables the virtual router simple text password authentication
for the virtual router ID. Use the no form of this command to disable simple
password authentication for the virtual router.
Syntax
Sample Output The following example enables simple text authorization and creates a
password of jerry for virtual router vr-id 1 on an interface labeled boston.
(config-if:boston)# ip vrrp 1 auth-key jerry
